Nick has spent more than 27 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry, predominantly in a Market Access leadership  capacity at country, regional and global levels.

Nick's experience  includes

  • Global Market Access Capability development
  • Cross Portfolio New Product Planning (UK/Ireland & Nordics) with responsibility for price, reimbursement and access strategies across  Phase II products and beyond.
  • UK & Ireland Market access leader
  • European launch leader including Value Story development, pricing, launch strategy and implementation.

Previous roles also incorporated Sales & Key Account Manager leadership and developing a field based Health Outcomes team. Nick is based in Newcastle, UK.

Hirotoshi Komoda
Senior Director,
Market Access Japan

Hirotoshi has more than 30 years of experience in Government Relations and Public Policies, most recently focusing on the pharmaceutical and medical device sector in Japan.

Hirotoshi has held several executive level roles within the Pharmaceutical Industry in Japan including Director for Public Affairs and Policy, identifying priority issues and environment shaping activities to influence government policy and regulations to advance business strategy. Previous roles also include Director of Market Access and Pricing for Japan. Prior to this, Hirotoshi was a Principal Research Fellow at the Dentsu Institute for Human Studies, where his work focused on public policy research and analysis. Komoda is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Ed Stockton
Senior Director,
Market Access Strategy

Ed has spent 23 years within Market Access in the Pharmaceutical Industry in both brand and leadership roles at a country, regional and global level.

Ed’s previous roles have included Head of Market Access  for the UK and China where he was responsible for leading country launch and  life cycle strategies across the portfolio. Ed was also PRA launch leader at a regional and global level across several disease areas.

His most recent role was as Global Payer Strategy and Marketing Director, responsible for building capabilities around launch excellence, value story creation, pricing, healthcare system mapping and Market Access integration into brand and commercial planning. Ed is based in Sunderland, UK.

Shannon Lee
Director - Market Access

Shannon lives in London, Ontario, and as well as a Biomedical Science degree and a Pharmacy degree, has a Masters of Neuroscience. She has 10 years of experience in Market Access through previous roles at major pharmaceutical companies.

Shannon’s main areas of expertise include reimbursement strategy for HTA and Payer submissions, new product planning for pipeline assets, and creating tailored scientific information for healthcare professionals, payers and patients. She has previously directed the strategy for HTA submissions, product listing negotiations with payers, and advocacy plans.

Shannon is responsible for leading global projects, as well as utilising her experience in the field to advise on the Canadian market. Shannon is based in Toronto, Canada.

Luca Dellamano
Director – Market Access

Luca lives in London, United Kingdom and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Regulatory Affairs and Market Access; a postgraduate Certificate in Health Technology Assessment; and a Master’s Degree in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics.

Since 2007, Luca has been supporting the execution of Strategic Pricing and Market Access projects, including performing primary and secondary research at European and international level. His experience, working for both consulting agencies and in a freelance capacity has seen him conduct hundreds of qualitative interviews with Payers, KOLs and other key stakeholders and led him to become an expert in the collection and analysis of P&R, HTA and Market Access data.

Luca is responsible for leading European focused projects, advising on the Italian market and is fluent in Italian and English. Luca is based in London in the UK but often works from Italy when visiting his family.

Angela Acosta
Director – Market Access

Angela has a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy. She brings more than 9 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, pricing and market access as a community pharmacist and as a Market Access Consultant.

Angela is specialised in Payer Value Communications, Evidence Generation, Environment Analysis, Stakeholder Mapping, and Health Technology Assessments. She has also supported international companies (small and medium biotech) to obtain national Marketing Authorisation and request Pricing and Reimbursement in Spain. Angela has also been involved with the management and coordination of face-to-face and online advisory boards throughout her career.

Angela is responsible for leading global projects, advising on the Spanish market and is fluent in Spanish and English. Angela is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but works from Spain when visiting her family.

Catherine Bacon
CEO/Managing Director

Catherine has an MSc in Neuroscience and more than 15 years of experience in market access. The ​​

majority of Catherine’s experience as a consultant was acquired at three large consultancies and through working in a freelance capacity. She has delivered across the market access spectrum, a wide range of disease areas and across all stages of the product lifecycle. ​​

Based in Manchester (UK), she set up FingerPost Consulting in 2015 to help address the resource and knowledge gaps associated with Market Access on a global level. She now leads the business and is determined to provide a unique offering that addresses the gaps not served by other agencies in the industry. She also enjoys collaborating on projects and learning from the vast range of experts that support FingerPost.​​

Victoria Wooldridge
Chief Operating Officer

Victoria has over 12 years’ experience working within a commercial recruitment capacity.  Since 2013, ​​Victoria’s role was as a specialist Consultant within the field of Market Access & HEOR recruiting into both permanent and interim positions across Strategic Market Access, Value Communications, HEOR and Real World Evidence. ​​

Throughout her career, Victoria has developed many strong, company specific relationships which have enabled internal teams to ensure they have the precise skill sets in place for successful project delivery.  In position at FingerPost, Victoria uses these skills to further develop and support our global network thus strengthening our capabilities to support partners on a greater breadth of projects. ​​

Based in Manchester (UK), Victoria also brings core operational skills and is the main point of contact at FingerPost for contracting and invoicing, as well as playing an active role in project resourcing.

Nicole Drake Boven
Primary Research Lead

Nicole has over 18 years of pharmaceutical market research experience, including pricing and market access. She started her career in the US but much of her experience has been gained working both on the client and agency sides for Global and European teams.  Whilst Nicole spent the past 10 years living and working in the Netherlands, during the summer of 2019 she moved to a village north of Lyon, France, where she is currently based.​

Nicole’s key focus at FingerPost is to ensure we are compliant with market research guidelines and reporting requirements. She also develops our primary research policies and processes, and provides direction and coordination of the primary research elements of projects.

Steven Hartley ACA
Non-Executive Director

Steve is a Chartered Accountant with experience on the Board of listed and private companies. Steve’s background in corporate finance has enabled him assist businesses from start up through the many challenges of fast growth, international expansion, business acquisitions and sales or listing on public markets. Based in Manchester, Steve supports and advises the FingerPost Leadership team to help secure the long-term, sustainable success of FingerPost.
